In jscott's case, the pipe had frozen over the winter and that's why it burst. i normally want electricity to see things clearly and to inspect basement, attic, etc. if i were you, i'd be more concerned with the cost of windows, drywall, doors, etc. those are the huge ticket items...I just changed all that. trust me, i hated paying those bills.good luck.

Just because it worked in the past does not mean it was the right way to go.If someone drives down the highway at a speed higher than the speedlimit should conclude that speeding is legal because they did not get a ticket?

I've been trying to find areas with little rain too and I think the main reason for that is the wear and tear on a bigger ticket item like a roof, but I'm sure the trade-off with that is warmer climates would likely need more HVAC work which is just another big ticket item that can potentially go bad too.

We always check the big ticket items- age/condition of the: roof, Water heater, HVAC, and floors.

I have a military friend that got leave denied when they unexpectedly went to a new command with almost no notice (she was pregnant)....no problem here is an already approved leave request and flight itinerary for tickets I bought 3 weeks ago (both fake and she was planning on driving).

Kinda like getting your driver license.. without knowing the " traffic laws " you may be able to drive ok.. but when you get pulled over by the cops they will explain what traffic offence you did not know your getting the ticket for.. eh ?

Also, as far as rents, when you figure in the trade off of buying, insuring and maintaining a car to the $75 month T ticket it makes the area rent seem more reasonable.
