South Bend has the biggest trauma center hospital in the area, as well as Notre Dame football games that are hugely popular, and a great downtown/college atmosphere.

Padsplit.com is a popular one, but not sure if they are active in Georgetown.

I LOVE Austin and I see the evidence of its popularity every day. 

We landed on this area due to great opportunities and a raise in popularity.

The house is not in a popular school district and is small 2 bedroom so when I first advertised it, only young couples or roommates working in the downtown area applied.

The land trust use became popular back when it was marketed as a way to avoid the due on sale clause of mortgages being assumed or “Subject to” (didn’t work).  

Property management is not a popularity contest.

What would you if you had $60k/$100k/$150k and:1. needed to invest hands-off (personally could not manage/could not renovate)2. preferred short-term rentals (you would like to visit in the summer understanding summer is a popular rental time in some regions); long term is fine though 3. did not care too much about locationIf your advice differs (e.g., markets, property type, etc.) for each dollar amount, please share.
