You don't need to call anyone when you have it in writing from .mil direct.You will note that I have an "Active Duty End Date," letting you know that I'm presently a civilian, and that you should reject me as a tenant applicant if I'm trying to pretend that I'm active duty still.Make sure that whatever "Active Duty Status Date" they give you, bump it forward in time a month or two when you search, because it searches for people who enlisted "on or before" this date but will return null results for folks who joined "after" this date.

Don't know the numbers but I know a majority of people enlist the help of an agent when renting.

I think that's a great plan, whether you're enlisted or commissioned it's always a good idea to get involved with multi-families especially so early on.

Enlisting the help of a QI is a requirement when completing a 1031 exchange transaction.

It does mean that your exclusive agent would have a claim on any transaction fitting the description of the types of properties you have enlisted him to search for, no matter how they were sourced. 

Again, probably another reason to enlist an attorney @Nitin Shrawagi - just to be sure on all legal requirements within your state, whether it's a commercial or residential loan.

If an enlisted person has been on station 2-3 yrs already, at most locations, they could PCS in a year so ask how long have they been there already and have they re-enlisted or plan to reenlist and if so, when.

Hello everyone,I'm 21 years old and have been serving on active duty as a US Marine for the past 3 years and plan on attending college at Arizona State to begin the pursuit of my MBA in 2 years immediately after I finish my enlistment, but my "big time" goal in life is to become a multifamily real estate investor and create my own chain of luxury apartment complexes all over the United States and potentially all around the world, and from there become a venture capitalist and invest in small tech startups that have huge potential, but just not enough funds to get it started.I'm still currently educating myself on the subject of real estate investing and real estate in general (reading books, listening to podcasts, studying markets in different areas, etc) and I look forward to networking and learning from all of you here and potentially even shadow/work with some of you sometime in the near future!
