Do you have any previous real estate transactions under your belt?

No one brings physical cash (fiat money) to a closing unless they have time to sit around counting it.Only time you need a money belt is at auctions.

Since you are studying real estate business, researching your local cities is another tool to add to your belt for investment properties.   

Seems like this was the perfect opportunity to get some experience under your belt.

Congrats on getting the first one under your belt.

Its not easy  so step one is getting the know the area like the back of your hand and become a black belt at the basics which I outlined above.

Our understanding so far is that you need to work for a realty co, and in order to eventually become a broker yourself you need to get some years under your belt and further education. 

I'm fairly new to buying rental homes, I have 4 under my belt.

I currently own 0 properties and hope to have at least 6 deals under my belt by the end of next year.
