Hello,On 3 different VRBO listings, one in Albuquerque, and (2) in San Diego I'm getting an unbelievable amount of scam inquiries on VRBO.

Think clown and less tasteful.

With the cause of the loss probably being a hurricane I would make sure your hurricane/wind deductible isn't insanely high though as sometimes it is a percent of whatever the home coverage is.

But I heard it is not in San Jose, Santa Monica. 

He is overbidding by an insane amount and still losing properties, usually to cash offers.I haven't done research into this for personal real estate purchases so looking for some pros/cons here from my idea.Can you take out a hard money loan to make a cash offer on a personal home.

I too am a Marine Veteran real estate investor here in San Antonio.

I can't imagine what the competition is like today in light of this insane summer market.
