I have been a female in construction directly or indirectly for over 40 years.

Some questions I have include: where should I go to take my pre-licensing course, who are some respectable brokers to work with in the area, what are some good locations in your opinion for a "new to the area" real estate agent to get started, and where would you recommend a single 32 year old female to reside.

@Chermaine ChilesIn my area, anything I put on the ground closer to the city limits gets snatched up right away no matter when I put them out, but as others have said, use a Google Voice number and I used a female name like LISA or SARA..I seem to get more calls that way.I am sticking to just putting mine up on telephone poles about 10 feet high with one of those "bandit sign" staplers that I made with stuff from Home Depot.

Wife prefers that we take cash though.I know you are joking, but sadly there are many females who have been a victim of this type of landlord. 

You start thinking that you could now be the next victim on the 11 o'clock news.Your female tenants are being contacted by gang members who kill people for no reason.

When one or more move out (at the end of the lease)  they and the remaining tenants would be your best bet for referrals.It would be interesting to hear from the professionals whether male or female students are the better tenants and if they use a separate lease for each tenant.

I wish I could recall what podcast that was where they had a female guest who gave all sorts of good information on VA loans

He was so careful about all of this that if he had to enter a unit with a female tenant to address a minor repair issue he made sure my mother came with him.
