Realtor moving from Ohio to Tampa
Hello. I am moving from Ohio to the Tampa area sometime in March of this year. I am currently a real estate agent here in Dayton, Ohio. My plan is to take the steps to obtain my real estate license in Florida as soon as I get settled in. I would love any advice anyone has to offer. Some questions I have include: where should I go to take my pre-licensing course, who are some respectable brokers to work with in the area, what are some good locations in your opinion for a "new to the area" real estate agent to get started, and where would you recommend a single 32 year old female to reside. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

I would road trip to Tampa, and check out Larry Harbolt's weekly real estate meetup. (I think it's in St Pete, I can check if you PM me) They can answer all your questions for the Tampa area.
I've gone a couple times, and I've been impressed by the caliber of the few agents and many investors that attend.
It would really depend on your focus. I assume it is investor oriented, as you are posting on BP.
