I feel the city would offer support with incentives and tax breaks since the mayor just visited us the other day to try to troubleshoot this lack of housing as well. 

I imagine there are some people who have very generous, supportive family members who fronted them some money.

For support, it cites a specific court case from 1981.From my quick review, I'm pretty sure that the IRS attorneys misinterpreted both the IRS statute and the court case, and I can see where they tripped.

I am just looking for a source to get data on the STRs for an area to help support my case if need be.

The bridge is in rough shape and the engineering firm I had looked at it said that it would only support the weight of a pickup truck but would not support the weight of a cement truck or larger weights required for development or required by the fire marshal.

But, if you have a significantly high salary that can regularly support paying cash for properties, that may not be the worst idea.

At the end of the day, I am a buy and hold investor so I am all for accumulating as much properties as possible as long as they are profitable otherwise you will be supporting that property out of your own pocket every month, which limits your growth dramatically. 

I am looking for a way to build wealth, learn REI, and support the scale and growth of another real estate investor using my skills.

The profits I make allow me to help support my family, which gives me the bandwidth to keep doing this, and also allows me to continue to turn trash into treasure.
