Howdy NickI would start by reading the applicable municipalities zoning code and doing some measuring of the site.

I ran across an article (I think it was CNN) that made reference to some change to the tax code that was included in this new stimulus bill.

Most of the homes we own today were foreclosures and I can assure you, you will have improvements to consider after closing including topics like lead paint, asbestos, aluminum wiring, code violations, etc.

Currently the train schedules are altered, so if you're checking now it may not be accurate.

We've found deals but my realtor runs it from there - showings, inspections, code enforcements, the SPIR, tenant notices, necessary docs (lead paint disclosure, fire & safety, energy audit, minimum housing certificates, etc...).

It would be dependent on the municipal code of the subject property.

If I was closer to the graveyard, or thought there was some imminent doom model coming, I might alter that somewhat.
