Now I'm venturing off on my own in search of building up my own investment portfolio.

They are hands-off, institutional grade real estate investments, and they allow you the option to diversify into offerings in markets across the country.

I’ve started off with buying equity in a new build that cash flows as a mid term rental.

But we can afford that (our current bay area home is paid off) and we have a regular income & no other debts.  

Any of you live outside the U.S  or have experience on countries where the dollar stretches' the most, Im biased in Bolivia, SA, because my family is from there , im fluent in spanish and been visiting on/off since i was a child, longest time i stayed there was 1yr.

We have ended up being the latter a couple of times in 7 years because we started off trying to be helpful, but have put policies in place to avoid it:Our rule of thumb is that you can’t be behind by more than your security deposit.
