Assets taken as collateral for one loan is a comingling of assets issue but so long as the owner is free to utilize the assets together there is no issue.Other issues may arise too if one property is in a trust, paying off a loan or a significant amount may trigger the need for the asset to be valued again, appraised, so if any property is held in a trust speak to the trust administrator.BTW, this qualifies for my definition of creative financing, using other assets to accomplish a financing arrangement. :)

Fixall dries much harder than spackle, making it much harder to sand and remove-which is why you really have to use coarser sandpaper if you're dealing with Fixall.

In addition the economies of scale wont make sense to hire an onsite manager until you get in the much larger buildings like 30+.I notice you are a local DFW guy and you may notice that the inventory for the type of building you are talking about is bone dry.

The refrigerator was so toally disgusting with dried food it took hours to clean.I am considering taking her to small claims court because she has a steady job and I think considering the damage she has done, should compensate me financially for the lost rent and the hours of time and labor and materials it will take to get the apartment back to the condition it was in when she rented it.

Research how many homeowners are in lawsuits with builders over quality issues in newly built homes.If construction has stopped before the property is dried in (has walls, roofs, doors and windows to the point they keep weather out), the framing has been exposed to the weather.

Do this on your own and than you can see the source of the leak and determine if you want to take a crack at it yourself.Chris has a great point - this will also allow your joists and anything else that got wet a better chance to dry thoroughly which may prevent problems with mold that Jeff S. referenced.
