Fill the rest with mulch and a few nice bushes , put in a cheap fire pit in the center , paint the concrete grey , and you have a nice little landscape area .

I really do not mean to whine and complain, But I am exhausted.I love where I am, Sometimes I am actually helping people build "retirement funds" or wealth and real estate knowledge, while learning for myself, but right now I am barely breaking even on the investment of simply getting my real estate license, much less marketing expenses or the time/lack of sleep I put in to this.I am learning about market trends in specific residential areas.

While other streets were never put in off the main drive.This land is just as raw as it was back in the early 1900's, now over grown with dense forest and undergrowth.So my question here is, would a landowner with enough skills to cut in a driveway be able to do work on the public right of way just enough to get back to the lot or lots that they own?

They apparently weren't too keen on having buyers trample through the house, as evidenced by the the five or six showings they turned down during that four day period.Thanks to the persistence of my Realtor, however,we were able to schedule a showing the fifth day it was on the market.I put in an offer - 17% below list price - the very next morning.

If you aren't diving into real estate investing full time, it is also a good way to ease in, work with other investor and gain experience through them. the down side is: it's sales and commission work, no effort = no $$$. it's a lot of busy work (I work with foreclosure and short sales, and investors). it will distract from your own investing objective.
