A rental built to lastCons for New:  Expensive ($60-$90k PLUS transport, set-up and probably perm foundation) payoff in 15-20 yrs, ~1.25% rule In what I am thinking, both new and old would require transport and set-up with rural utilities; existing properties come available from time to time but the market here is pretty tight; nice 10-15 year-old DW's on 2 ac+ routinely go for $125-$150+ around here.BTW:  There are no $20k single-wides on land that need $2000 to be rent-ready around here....Thoughts?

I guess many of the rentals are to persons that own the right vehicle to navigate the sand roads or do the owners or rental companies supply transportation, or am I over analyzing the need for 4 wheeldrive?

We have an arrangement with a local taxi service which allows our tenants to call a cab when leaving from "a night out", show them their "Take me home" card and receive transportation back to their house/apartment ... even if they have spent all their money earlier in the evening.

Hey @Muhammad Ahmadcongratulations on getting started in Chicago, it’s a great city to invest in and house-back 😃✔️ Pilsen is great, lots of local businesses and things to do ✔️ I personally lived in Bridgeport for a few years and the area has changed significantly in the past few years, great access to transportation ✔️ I actually grew up in Brighton Park and this area has drastically changed, there is also a new development with the Chicago Park District headquarters moving there
