@Jody Sperling I get the point on 401k restricting your investments, in a situation like mine where the company offers a ridiculously good match (10% on 8% investment), it's hard to say no to an automatic 125% ROI.

Hello BP Members,I'm hoping to receive some advise about a situation I'm currently in 1 month after closing on my first investment property.I purchased a 4-plex in the DFW, TX area late August this year that is located in a street with four other 4-plex properties.I know that my property and the one next to mine were owned by a single owner but was sold separately.The problem I have run into is about parking spaces.

If it were mine, Loud boy one warning--then non-renew--or boot out.Car issue, number the spots and assign them in the leases with a parking sticker with the spot number on it.Staple a duplicate numbered parking sticker to the lease in case you ever need it in court--vs peeling the one of the renters car.Possibly do an addendum for this to the lease if need be.Post warning signs according to local law and set up with a towing service.Car issue with no sticker parking there, have resident have service tow it--according to local law.No need to get involved in the car issue then.

All of mine turn over in summer, so 6 months is well before I know how much the taxes will be increasing, so this would buy me some flexibility.
