We have cold air returns so I'd like to do as much soundproofing as I can without really making a mess.

Be especially mindful of any mold or moisture you see on the underside of the sheathing as this may indicate air leakage from the living quarters or a poorly ventilated attic.

They were all too expensive, so we went with air b and b.

(Air filters, lawn care, gutter cleaning, etc).
