Totally hypothetical, but say someone was a recruiter considering starting a headhunting business, but also owns a few rental properties and is really interested in REI as an avenue to financial freedom. 

For right now, I am focused on Maryland (Gaithersburg, Rockville, Baltimore areas).Would love to connect with any and all investors, hard money lenders, private money lenders, contractors, tax experts, lawyers, and anyone who wakes up thinking about achieving their big life goals, one day at a time.I'm always down for a quick 10-15min zoom chat to see how we could help each other.Prior experience includes managing co-working spaces, recruitment manager, event manager, digital advertising, digital marketing, and web development.

Be mindful with the REI groups, most have a commercial purpose, recruit students etc - I am not familiar with griup you mentioned, so may not be the case. 

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I had previously been pitched by two ham-handed agents who focused of the "recruit your way to wealth" angle. 

(Ha Ha) if you have anywhere the same experience I did, recruiters will show up to buy you lunch & pitch to you to come work with their company.

Since then I've been receiving unemployment benefits and looking for my next job.When employed I normally make around 100k doing database and software engineering.My rental home has been a godsend during covid as it is cashflowing almost enough to cover my rent here.So far my tenants have not brought up any finanal troubles due to covid.They are mature and skilled, and most likely are working from home.With the addition of the unemployment benefits and my already mininalistic/frugal lifestyle, my bank balance has been depleting but not too quickly.It seems clear that my first priority needs to be getting employed, but there's only so much job hunting that can be done in a day and I'm not really sure what's going on in tech hiring right now - one recruiter signaled that companies are not really hiring much yet.I've been taking this opportunity to learn and plan so that I can be ready to purchase my next rental property when the opportunity is right.
