Collecting rent rolls, walking properties, learning who's doing the best in our sector/niche and how they're doing it, finding partners, all of these things I'm fairly good at, as I've been doing this for my recruiting agency for the past 3 years.

I am relocating to Southern Florida around March/April to serve as a recruiter at the South Dade Recruiting Station in Miami.I am planning to purchase my first property and aim to take advantage of the VA Loan and Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) benefits to make this possible.

@Kasey Hardt very interesting,  didn't realize this was a pattern but even I've got friends that are getting recruited to the area for medical device startups etc, so could be a very interesting trend to watch.

I went from Teaching to Coaching college basketball to executive recruiting  (headhunting).

Multifamily mindset has recruited students from all walks of life such as teachers, medical doctors, veterans, real estate agents, business men, and I was included into a group (multifamily mindset encourages students to form groups) and one of them is a veteran who is divorced, has kids to support, not employed during that time, got a loan of $40,000 for the tuition.

Starting each day $10,000 richer I would certainly not have time to recruit and teach students.

From my experience the first team member to recruit will be a local Project Manager-someone who wants to help you long term as your eyes in the field and boots on the ground. 

In addition to just posting your property on furnished finder, they were reaching out and building connections with hospital HR departments and recruiters to help place nurses in properties.
