That does not qualify.There's no statutory holding period but the pattern and nature of your activity will demonstrate whether your intent was to hold the property or to resell it.

Depending on the quality of the finish work on the slab, it is feasible to keep the concrete as your finished floor and I've seen it done with a faux marble finish that looked great.

Total contract price, payment schedule, time of completion, make sure all change orders are in writing and include additional amount, make sure GC is licensed and insured, make sure all of their subs are licensed and insured, make sure that all items are completed to code, make sure that materials are specified (ie marble, ceramic, travetine, etc...)
