I have no interest in confrontation anyway so certified it is.

I always try to avoid realtors and buyers/sellers who are clearly determined to be confrontational.

When I confronted them about these issues I wouldn’t let it go and I was told to be out on the 20th and the doors would be locked when I got home from work.

Imagine that you could find and buy a cheap trailer park...You have to fix it up like new to pass the Section 8 requirements and keep everything running like new because a tenant can call their worker and you are immediately confronted with Government Bureacracy and heavy fines etc. 

If I found myself without a job like a lot of people are suddenly finding themselves confronting today, and with no income to pay my way in the world, I knew I could always fall back on the emergency account I held in cash and wouldn’t have to worry about making mortgage payments for a long time if I needed to divert that money towards any number of unexpected expenses that popped up.

Telling them why they were denied can help them address the issue or confront the issue on the next application.

Even if you catch them on camera, you will not want to confront them, because it will just result in a bad review.

I mean really, in this case of this post, even if the tenant had sold the OP's snowblower, she would end up financially far, far better off to eat that $100 loss and get rid of the tenant in the least confrontational way possible (which she managed to do without the loss), than to confront him and have him stop paying rent with a national eviction moratorium. 

Once you have evidence, you confront them about it and give them a deadline for reimbursing you.

When I finally snapped a few months ago and confronted him about the endless nonsense and confusion in accomplishing simple things, he threatened to punch my teeth out for questioning his word.
