I would just nicely and calmly explain what I do.

What I started to do is just calm down and take it one step at a time. 

So, I decided to take courses in it to calm my curiosity; I started in real estate when I was taking real estate courses for elective credits last semester in college.

I only have (had) time for results not fantasy or estimates or hopes or calming fears.When you have ten properties, your business is usually at a point where your accounting and financial analysis might be reviewed.

I think the fear of the "what ifs" as well as over analyzing has held me back from getting into real estate over the years, but knowing there is a resource like BP to bounce ideas and concerns off of has calmed those fears quite a bit.
