San Jose is now the first city where an ADU can be sold separately from the main house - I'm not sure how that works, maybe the land is divided up in the assessed value???

I've got a single family home rented out in San Jose, CA and unfortunately my long term tenant has stopped paying rent and is ghosting me. 

Does anyone have recommendations for ADU design and construction companies in San Diego county?

Not sure where you are located but East West Bank will do it if the property is in San Francisco or in most nearby counties. 

Hi BP community,I FINALLY finished house hacking a duplex in San Antonio!

I have several California investor friends with properties in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston.

I'm in Canada, they are in San Fran. 

Renting in Dec or January is orders on magnitude harder than in the summer even in mild weather San Diego.  

I’m about to PCS to San Antonio for a year and was considering buying an investment property to live in while I’m there, then rent out after I leave.My question is this: since we’re restricted in getting fixer uppers with the VA loan (I know there are renovation loans), what are you looking for with the property?

I am a Realtor here in San Antonio that only does off-market or discounted on market deals.
