Jose Rodriguez,Since you contributed mortgage and the LLC assumed the mortgage yet you guaranteed it, you are looking at your contribution being the total loan amount as you are still liable for it.The LLC will deduct 100% of the interest.

Hi @Juan Rodriguez ,You have some great advice here to help you make an informed decision for when you buy the property; however there is one important step I can recommend:Make sure that you budget at least 10% for property management as a monthly expense item even if you choose to manage it yourself.By doing so, you will have the option to hire a  professional PM down the road.
