I'd go to the hospital and see if there are any bulletin boards or call them up and ask if there is such a thing or if they have a facebook page where you can advertise or if they hire traveling nurses through a particular agency, then call them up and find out how to advertise to their nurses for that hospital. 

Another thing to look into is renting to travel nurses, I have one of my units rented to travel nurses and it has been a great experience - higher than market value for rent, and not as much turnover and guest management as Airbnb.

They're not like students or nurses; they don't all congregate in the same place on a regular basis. 

Has a particular profession (ex: nurses) resulted in prompt payments and less vacancy rates?

Most of the travelers are nurses or medical workers.

However I do fall under the lower income exception.I rent half the home to traveling nurses who are booking for 3 month stays at the moment.

Most veteran investors I know who are now very wealthy had regular jobs (professors, engineers, nurses, mechanics, HVAC techs, realtors, etc) to pay the bills and to build capital.

I was an ER nurse for years and I don’t care how many sweet stories you hear about pits.

I am also currently vested into nursing homes, assisted living, freestanding ERs, and MRI centers, along with the real estate.
