Smoke alarms can sometimes be removed or relocatedMake sure to check all the smoke alarm locations to see if they are functional and intact! 

The pictures also show some smoke damage above the fireplace and in the living room. 

Does this sound realistic or blowing smoke?

Of course you'll get regular updates from the syndicator and you'll never be left in the dark, but you have nothing to do with the daily management of the property.

I'm about to paint 2 of my houses with Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze, which is a very dark charcoal/brown color.

I just sold a cottage that I painted the cabinets in a dark gray and everyone loved them - but thats a super trendy choice so for my duplex I’m closing on for a buy and hold, I may just go white... still deciding. 

I'm looking for a fairly simple look, just dark charcoal grey without it trying to look too much like stone.

Hello BP,Shot in the dark but can anyone recommend a Tax Preparer and/or CPA with experience working with real estate investors in Pennsylvania - specifically Harrisburg, Carlisle, or York areas ?

I’m suspicious because when the tenants moved in they wanted to paint the interior (themselves) and I declined because they wanted to use dark purples/oranges etc and it just had been painted anyway.
