I don't think so, but I understand the basis in regulatory law for treating us differently.

I plan on mining this body of knowledge however I can.   

My current employer purchases narrow body aircraft and leases them to airlines throughout the world so many of the economic principles (prudent asset/liability management, active asset management and conservative cash flow management) and analytical metrics (margin/spread analysis, IRR, ROA, etc) translate well to the real estate industry.I’ve been reading books/blogs and listening to podcasts and 2 things have become evident to me: 1 – the more I learn the more I see how little I know and,2 – there is a myriad of ways to find, finance and exit a property.

Or they will wholesale it out to a disposal firm.Understand there are legal, regulatory and financial pressures to sell.

Come on man.............somebody or bodies are not being truthful.  

Businesses are fleeing in droves and the State seems to be doubling down on stupid by creating even more taxes and increasing what is already an almost crippling regulatory environment.

As a private lender, my only limitations are legal and regulatory compliance which gives me far greater freedom to make the best business decisions for my assets and help out the borrower when I could.
