My name is Rich Kammerdiner. I am in  the research/initial education phase of my Real Estate investing career. I have spent the last 30 years in Corporate Management and have decided to do something different utilizing the business acumen I have accumulated (hopefully!) over the years. I am looking into converting a part of some 401k money I have into some liquidity that I can use to access leverage and jump start my RE investing career - (I'm thinking solo 401k but still have a lot to learn about this  process.) I am interested in single family and/or small multi family initially with a buy/improve/manage strategy for the medium term - (7-10 years) with an occasional flip when/if it makes sense. I learned about this site from reading a couple of Brandon Turners books which I found to be great references. The site certainly seems to contain a wealth of knowledge and knowledgeable  individuals. I plan on mining this body of knowledge however I can.
