{Fun fact: we actually tried STR by the rooms and we cash flowed like crazy...but we didn't realize that we needed a permit and so we had to stop it} We did alot of pre-qualification work to make sure the prospective tenants are trustworthy...but you are never sure 100% anyways.

Haven't seen too many DSCR qualifications allowing less than 1:1, and not even sure that's an avenue you'd want to explore given your "prime" conditions.Recommendation:- Continue your ideal position through the tough market stretch, allowing yourself to compete when the prime buyer's market returns.
