Hello from Asheville

Hello BP folks,

I am an event producer turned construction management student that got into the BP podcast during monotonous shifts of painting, sanding, etc., at my previous job. You can only listen to a good music playlist so many times..

Now that I'm in the REI mindset, I'm excited to pair investing with my construction pursuits. I am undecided on the best route for my first deal, but I love the concept of BRRRR -- especially since I can perform some of the remodeling work myself and manage the rest, as I just earned a GC license and want to start with a small project. House hacking is also on the table or adding an ADU to a house hack. Eventually, however, I plan to build and hold multi-family rental units.

At this point, I've been scouring listings and weighing different possibilities. I have more reading and pondering to do before making my first move. However, I am hopeful that I will continue to learn and uncover solutions as I go.

I look forward to hearing from y'all, especially anyone that has experience in our lovely town of Asheville.

Thanks!

Kat
