I've been trying to  weigh out the pros and cons of getting my Real Estate License as well.Con: I realize the intense level of customer service requires that you make yourself available at ridiculous hours to appease overly caffeinated clients.

You learn roads, meet new people, etc - all a great test drive for your future career (and you might even get a lead or two)! 

Every few weeks my fiance and I are able to find a deal that passes all my tests but we're never able to get the financing (despite almost an 800 credit score) because most are REOs and need too much work OR someone beats us there!

I trained undergrads at a major University on Principles of Speech, how to give a quick speech in front of a group, and separated the introverts from the extroverts, I used a Myers Briggs personality test, then videotaped them all, it as a valuable experience for all :)

Moving into the online marketing arena and currently am testing out Facebook marketing.

White cabinets looks very nice in general, are in style, and have stood the test of time from a popularity perspective.

But I think youre right, it worth the test just to try it if its a fairly inexpensive switch!

I had a great turnout at the open house, to weed out any non-qualifiers they first had to fill out an application via Google forms and once they passed the test I responded to them with the open house times.

My background is internet software development, mainly do project management now, but love testing software.
