Best Job that Helped You

Hey everyone,

I am currently between jobs, I want to make the transition to become a Realtor here in Orlando/ Central Florida. My question is what job do you feel helped you gain skills or experience before you started your career as a realtor. Im looking to possibly start off part time as the income is less than steady obviously, but i don't want to waste my time at a job that i can not leverage a skill or experience that will help me in the career path i want to travel down. I really would appreciate the help. I have been looking maybe for some BPO job or field inspection gigs just to kinda stay somewhat in the industry. BTW already have my license and i need to earn some income before things run smooth as a realtor.

This may seem weird, because I've been an accountant for most of my life, so you'd think that I would automatically say that accounting and finance jobs helped me most.

But

Right after high school and during my first few years in college, I was a delivery driver.  I know 4 counties like the back of my hand.  Back roads, main roads, great neighborhoods, new development, stuff that needs to be torn town (and did back then too).

While my area has changed drastically since then, you give me any address in the 4 county area and I can pinpoint exactly where it is, what the quickest route is to it, tell you a lot of stuff about the neighborhood and can maybe even recall the exact building.

I started delivering pizza, but later on I delivered flowers.

If I had been interested in REI back then, I imagine it would have also been a great opportunity to get paid by somebody else to drive for dollars.

Look into driving for a florist or one of the main package delivery places like UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc.
