I've always assumed that interest rates just HAVE TO eventually go back up from the historic lows we've enjoyed over the past decade. 

My girlfriend at the time (now wife) was good with going along with my plan, now she enjoys the benefits.

And yes, you can find some lower priced properties in Allentown for sure, but almost none of them come with adequate parking and I wanted to find a place that I would definitely enjoy living.

I currently don’t have any properties at this moment but my ultimate goal is to retire early and enjoy life and live off my properties.

I I’m on the fence because I know we would enjoy the upgrades as well but if it’s money that would be better spent elsewhere then it would have to be thought about.

My thought is develop your skill, especially if it something you enjoy. 

For now we are enjoying a huge backyard as the piece of land is enclosed with our side of the duplex's yard!
