Venmo is owned by Paypal, so it has credibility. 

I did go back to the thread Jay referenced and someone made an excellent point that the cost associated with evicting over a missed payment due to lost employment during this time may exceed the cost of not receiving one months rent.

If a real estate investor with excellent credit had three  current mortgages,  and was looking to do  a cash out refinance on a free and clear condo, for. a fourth mortgage, what kind of rates could the investor get?   

We also had a real estate attorney do our closing, Lee Woodward, who was excellent, though not in Southern Maine, we had worked with him on a previous deal. 

You need credibility, a good strategy and the right product.

I can't for which are trustworthy or credible, but there are some reputable ones.

I think that with my background in construction I will be able to excel at renovations/additions and communicating well with architects, contractors, etc.I have someone that I wish to be my partner as he and I will hopefully make a good team.

Since you won't have any credibility yet with your new buyers, they're going to write you off very quickly if you start offering deals that are overpriced or have unrealistic ARV and/or repair costs.
