The funny part is, the next two tenants we rented to, destroyed the house, and were by far the worst tenants we've ever experienced in any of our properties.

At the end of the day people do not care about your stuff and will destroy and steal it if they want too.

For our rental kitchens, we just make sure to get plywood frames (no particle board, as it will be destroyed when it gets wet).

Since they are so large it scares me to have a bunch of single family homes that are 3,500 SF as there is so much more to destroy if you get the wrong tenant, not to mention Cap X will be higher in general. 

Ice makers are floor destroyers!

The view is that the tenant can destroy the property as much as they want and as long as the pet didn't do it they have to get the pet deposit back.

When I got the room back, the floor vent and grate was destroyed / missing like he’d been hiding something in it.

I have seen a stair post destroyed because a tenant allowed their cat to use it as a scratching post.

The house is in great shape, but it will probably take years for it to foreclose, so it will sit there & rot away, while vandals destroy it.

If the roofing is applied right on top of the SIP panel, moisture will destroy the panel quickly.
