Hello all,I cam across a SFR near Rutgers University right near the Cook/Douglas campus.

One of our tenants is moving to another of our houses so the wife just bought a new stainless steel range, one of our other tenants cooks in grease 24x7, she got $100 range from Goodwill.

I don't believe for 1 minute that this wasn't a deliberate cover up of a mistake and whomever was doing the books was cooking the books.

I go with 3x rent, no smokers, no cats, no evictions, credit score of 600 or higher, positive references from landlords for the previous 5 years and I say occupancy is limited to 2 people per bedroom.

Smoker aren't a protected class.

She poured cooking oil on the carpet, pulled the bathroom mirror off the wall, I'm not sure what she did to the bathroom sink but it may need to be replaced.

I don't allow smokers.  

Email is easy, sorry no smokers, or whatever the reason is.

Evictions in Cook County can easily take six months between service, court dates/extensions, and then waiting for the sheriff to actually remove the tenant.

Then they cook meth in the house or some other unwanted thing.
