But, I don't think it's worth keeping these tenants if you only charge them $700/month.There has to be something in it for you, too, otherwise it's charity, and tenants won't be grateful by and large.

Upshot: I am extremely grateful that we can make business decisions in my state (NC), and that government doesn't (yet) dictate our policies. (*) lease-year - 1 property leased for 12 months with a S-8 payment under a HAP contract.

Only of my rental properties has a large front bedroom window by the front porch and we placed a similar type grate on the inside of the window.
