The house and large detachable garage are in rough shape, the landscaping is grossly overgrown, and the lady is a an elderly horder, with potential financial problems, who is stuck in her ways.My neighbor/realtor briefly talked to her and was turned away as far as her wanting to sell.

Then he email the other Realtor and told her she was terrible at life.I ended up paying someone a few hundred dollars to go over there and do it because the poor lady who bought the house just couldn't manage it on her own.

I am meeting with an 82 yr old lady in a couple days to begin discussions of owner financing her five paid for duplexes.

I've said No every time except one and it was to a lady with a fantastic unit on a popular street in Portland. 

I told her I knew the house was a foreclosure and the lady who owned it had been a nurse. 

So this lady landlord who my wife says has a bad attitude says no, she wants her to leave so she can rent to her friend.

So like the lady posting about the 4 plex she has done all this work but has no ability to close .. she now realizes that she actually needs capital... she should work hard on the capital side then the deals will be easy.. not find a deal then get disappointed.I know some say find the deal and the money will find you... well maybe and sometimes but not generally.
