Part of my reason for getting into REI is so I can live the wanderer lifestyle while I'm still young enough to do it and enjoy the activities that we love; we have a Northern Lite truck camper and while it's a bit too small for my husband and I, our 2 dogs and cat, it's perfect for traveling up to a couple weeks at a time, which is what we both want to do.Thanks again to everyone for the great advice and warm welcome.

I think the shift in demand is primarily due to (i) locals (within 2-3 hour drive) being more open to travel to further destinations despite the pandemic and (ii) significantly increased STR supply in the market (the number of permits in operations today are apx. 2x what they were early 2020). 

Travel as much as you can.

And it's actually going to make us MORE money with WAY less work and headache 🙏 (I mean we'll still have tenants so its not without headache).I also have 2 littles, whom I homeschool, were just finishing up renovating a school bus, and started a couple businesses, while traveling the country (hippie scientist gone green real estate investor 🤓, still hippie 🌈✌️🚌, with hottie chef husband 👨‍🍳).

Mainly some horror stories surrounding what you mentioned (not sending payments to a 3rd party, and then the lender activating due-on-sale).I'm definitely interested in DSCR since it I'm also a travel medical worker and have gaps in work history (will have another one in November), which could make traditional financing tricky (proof of employment). 

Why don't you just say GWBjr was worst pres for air travel because look at all the flight cancelations under him, then say how we need to ignore 911. 

(ie, connecting to a local hospital to reach traveling nurses or a FB group, etc?)

If it's traveling workers, they won't care.
