I work in film (so I’m self-employed). 

Both my husband and I work in the film industry so we are pretty tied to this location for living, but I know neither of us can handle the film industry grind forever, hence wanting to invest in real estate with the hopes of creating passive income in the long term.  

I've heard there's a group for film business professionals, for example, looking for housing for a few months a time.

"Film in S-log 10-bit 422 at 3200 Kelvin" can you visualize it? 

Btw, I believe this is Gabor Mates' newest film if you haven't seen it.    

I ignored him and sold the house.I received a complaint because a tenant build a small film developing room inside his garage.

I didn’t know if I need to go so film detective noir with it or not, but it sounds like I do!

I happily rent in my desired neighborhood in Los Angeles and mix sound for TV and film, so for now at least to start I'm looking to invest out of state in Oakland County, MI and someday Grand Rapids.  

I'm in my junior year at the University of Miami studying business and film.
