It's laborious, messy - but it was far less damaging/challenging than the photos found on the internet...even with plastered walls.

Even in those cases it is hard to create gap between purchase price, rehab and ARV.Investing in todays market is overall very challenging and I am finding that the BRRRR startegy is one of the worst strategies in todays market.Lets keep in mind that BRRRR became highly popular before 2020.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve seen these challenges in your market or have insights into how STR investors can navigate this potential shift.

I only ask because that is, in my opinion, the most challenging part.  

Of course, these properties are full of challenges so be prepared before you start. 

I suspect that you'll have better luck with a local bank or private money, though it likely will still be challenging.
