We ended up sticking with the smaller bank bc they are more of a sure thing rather than taking the time to work with BoA/Merrill and if my spreadsheets are correct this option gets us much of our cash out AND saves us over $300/mo in interest payments over the next 30 years over as compared to the original product we were looking at which would have refinanced the entire loan at ~$970k on a 30 year fixed at 4.8%.

Love the BOA program.

Also I am aware of the Bank of America grant however I never had the best of luck dealing with BoA in the past has anyone using it before that could possible give me some info about it?

We have a HELOC with a small credit union so I'm thinking they will wait for BoA and WF to move before doing anything. 

BoA had the mortgage (15 years into it) and had a threshold for insurance claims where they hold ALL claim funds until they were 95% complete as determined by THEIR inspector.

Depends on the card but I’ve gotten these offers from BOA, Discover & Barclays before.   

I'd imagine the big banks (BoA for example) would have programs best in-line with what you need.

BlackRock purchased out all of BOA Merrill Lynch shares in 2011 and BOA Merrill Lynch no longer has ownership.

It feels like you're just doing your normal banking, but those deposits are working for you rather than BoA or Well Fargo.My wife and I have it on our property, and it's been great!
