I don't know how you can look at climate change and ascertain it's a myth and nothing is going to happen.

If you do manage to ascertain that the travertine does still stink of urine, remove the top layer of the grout between the travertine tiles (if there is grout) with an oscillating tool blade and put in a layer of one-step premixed grout with a putty knife before you try removing the travertine.
