I know landlords that run two cars, an old battered up a Focus for tenants, a 6 month old E class Mercedes for personal.So choosing a car is about perception.

Any property that hangs on the market too long becomes ignored, people start to think something is wrong with it if others in the same price range are moving and it takes a big dip to gain attention......or take it off the market and let that perception die. 

In a capitalist society only two types of people can really be free....entrepreneurs, and investors.  

Honestly it should be like this with every parent but since that is not a norm in our society I congratulate you for thinking differently!

Is there anything bulletproof in our society?

As society changes, we just need to adapt and find that way to make our businesses profit.

I think society lacks that as a whole.

Maybe not even investors bottom lines but the more you make life harder for the working class the less stable society is.
