I had several squirrels that after I trimmed limbs would make a 10 ft or more running jump to hit roof so had to cut limbs back more and take one oak out.

If you're finishing oak, it will take about the same time as ceramic.

And so much of the monetary policies have been changed since 08...so I wouldn't put too many chips on the 18 years cycle.

I bought the oak allure....just under a 100 square foot to start with...it is 20 cents per square foot less...is a light color which I like because it won't show scuffs and dust like the darker colors will.To all: Appreciate all the advice and will post every once in a while with newbie highs and lows.

I will have to call around.The problem is the house also has several large oak trees around it that shed a lot of leaves.
