Renter's insurance covers their personal property (belongings) and their liability, as well as temporary living expenses in the event the property is damaged and becomes inhabitable.Let them know if the property is in a flood zone, but also let them know historically how often it has actually flooded.

I do know pest control treatments fall under the guidelines here in KY which has been useful to me for unit inspection b/c my buddy owns a pest control company, just saying.I don't believe I would state the unit is inhabitable to the housing commission b/c they might hold you responsible for her temporary re-location until its repaired.

I can’t speak for Baltimore but I self manage on the eastern shore (even self managed through a failed well which even then pumped sand through the pipes requiring a replumb) key is having good contractors which can definitely had in this case.
