It was a stringent process to get the seller to budge even a little bit plus they didn’t want to do any of the repairs requested even with the inspection report.I have been reasonable and tolerant, but I refuse to put even more money on the table (plus I can’t put more money down).

@Robert ObniskiHi Robert, Sorry to hear about your troubles.I would suggest exploring the SBA EIDL loan/grant for lost rents/projected lost rents due to this disaster.I can’t say for certain as everyone’s situation is unique and the government will be underwriting these loans, however it should hurt to try.

That way you are not sitting on a lame duck in times of uncertainty and you know the seller/tenant will have some funds available assuming they are walking away from the closing table with a few bucks on the HUD statement.
