Let it ride for now and GET EDUCATED, grab the opportunity for positivity.

I would start lining up another Buyer just in case, but I had this happen recently where a Buyer of mine wanted to hail mary some financing and required an appraisal.

Ride it out, get some rental income coming in, and replace it when it dies with some of the rental funds you've acquired!

I have a 6 unit building with deteriorating roof and siding that was damaged by wind and hail.

If I lose the equity at least I can ride it out until it comes back and then I go right back to selling and getting the big pay day to then reinvest in larger more lucrative deals.

Most-often, the judge will reduce the penalty amount just like judges do for many other things e.g. a few months ago my son got a ticket for riding through a red light on his bicycle.

It's amazing the lengths people will go to to get a free ride.
