Most of the homes in the area (Oakland City, SW Atlanta) are 3bd homes, and ours is 5bd 3.5 bath including a master suite and an in-law suite.The most comparable homes in terms of features that I have found are in NE Atlanta, but the difference in location (NE vs SW) makes me think twice about basing the numbers on those comps.Does any one know of a good way to estimate rent for recently renovated properties in the SW Atlanta area or does anyone have rental properties in SW Atlanta?

They have 23 mobile home lots total. with 13 having home that they own and the other 10 lots are just pad rents with other people homes on them. they are interested in doing a master lease with option to buy. my wife and I just submitted our letter of intent today. if accepted then coming week we will be creating our 1st draft of the master lease.

I just ran the quick Redfin calculator with 3.5% down.Mortgage $1612/moProperty Tax $400/mo (maybe find another area since i've see property tax usually around $200/mo so might be some melaroos type taxes in certain neighborhoods)PMI $224/moHomeowners insurance $99/moTotal ~$2335/moWith 5 bedrooms, try to rent out the Master ($600/mo) and 3 other rooms ($400/mo/each) and you can cover most of your basic expenses while you live in the 5th room.
