I understood his situation but he had lots of pressure on him.

He totally understood and did not push back at all, even when his lawyer told him that my prenup was over the top and very one sided.  

Makes it look like he just wants a quick sell and does not have your best interest in mind.If I understood the situation correctly, the agent did give a reason why, and it was pretty much as you said: he just wants a quick sell, and a lo-ball sale would mean a lo-ball commission.

If some one thinks that their $3000 is gone they've not understood what they purchased because that $3000 in no way guarantees funding for a specific deal or that we'll just take the borrower's (or often their agent who stands to profit) judgement on whether or not we should fund it.
