I work very very very hard 7 days a week 12 to 16 hour shifts for 10 months of the year.With the price of oil doing what it is I see only a gurenteed 2 more years of work then nothing on the projected forecast.

I am sure San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston all have their stories but I believe in the long term sustainability of Austin via its non-oil-based job growth.

The only "con" I see at this time is the lower oil price causing some job market softening in Houston, but the impact so far has been small.

The one thing they are no longer able to OK that throws some folks is free standing electric heaters that circulate oil, which are now considered a fire hazard as they retain heat and could potentially cause a fire if they fell over.
