Brian Brian, I recently turned down a sublease for a fantastically placed condo in Palo Alto.

Beyond that, I am intrigued by the possibility of building a portfolio of small multifamily properties and generating cash flow to increase my flexibility and time with my two young sons.  

I can live with my son for a while to get started in investing.  

Myself, my wife, my two-month-old son, and my brother.We take extremely good care of our places of living.  

Her two sons also live in the unit and it's only 450 square feet!  

The guy I sold too ( my son) has owned it 3 years and it's gone up another 40-60k.

I don't think it is like grade school, it is more like Dad (Sr), Son (Jr), grandson (the 3rd), ...

Here in the same county, a friend of mine had an large, older ranch home, built in the 50's, on a gorgeous piece of riverfront property (in a very desirable, upscale, neighborhood), that still had the original electrical meter , and the power cable /electrical feed coming into the house right next to the front door!!!
